Based in Surbiton, The LWO is one of the premier symphonic wind bands in the South of England. We are a sociable and friendly ensemble consisting of high-standard amateur players from across London and The Home Counties.

We perform a varied repertoire from classical transcriptions and original symphonic band works to music from stage and screen. We strive to entertain our ever-growing audience and raise money for local charities.

We are continually expanding our repertoire and give regular concerts. Our members come
from all walks of life and our playing ability ranges from equivalent to Grade VIII to semi-professional standard - new members are always most welcome.
